Tell us a little bit about yourself:

I grew up in Greenwood, Indiana, but I’m originally from Mexico. I’ve always been fascinated by art since a young age. I remember staying up late as a kid hand-lettering just for fun, so it’s neat looking back at that. I just really enjoy creating visuals and seeing them being used in public.

First job?

My first job was being a host at a local restaurant, which included drawing up the daily specials on their chalkboard—of course, my favorite part!

First car?

My first car was a 2006 Nissan Altima.

Band: Imagine Dragons

Cereal: Honey Bunches of Oats w/almonds (I’m kind of a health-nut)

Beverage: Probably beer :)

Things to do outside of work: Trying out new restaurants/bars/socializing

TV show: Black Mirror

Design inspiration: Gemma O’Brien, Blind Studio & their YouTube blog,, Pentagram

During my time at MH: I want to refine my design process and workflow. All while getting to know the design business and expand/challenge my creativity.

“This bio interview was more involved than my actual interview.”
